Essie Serial Shopper Swatches & Review

Hey There,

How goes it? I'm alright for the most part. Just trying to take things one day at a time. Today I'll be sharing a simple swatch with you from Essie. I actually have had this polish for I think almost two years now and I have only used it twice! Once as a base for some double stamping nail art that I did and then the other for this review! Keep reading for more!

Serial Shopper

Unfortunately, my bottle shot somehow disappeared so we'll just have to make do without one lol. Serial Shopper is a bright orange creme polish from the Essie Neon 2014 Too Taboo Collection. I will say that this polish did have a sheer application and the formula was a bit on the thinner side (love-hate relationship with this brand lol). Sadly, I found the coverage to only be okay and even with the second coat, it did apply a bit patchy. I must say that there was a good drying time between the coats. By the third coat, I found the polish to be a bit uneven but thankfully topcoat helped to level things out. Shown is three thin coats with a glossy top coat.

  3. It's crazy how I have some older essie polishes and still not used them either! I mainly bought them for water marbling. This is a very pretty shade ♡♡

  4. Heeey I have this one! I won the entire neon collection with a giveaway! You're right, it is very sheer for a creme. I only use it for nail art, it's perfect for that! Must say that the shade looks beautiful on you! I always love coral-y orange summer shades like these, but they never look good on their own on me.

  7. Haha I think I still have a few that I'm working my way through. They are some of the best polishes to work with for marbling just because of their formula. I think that's why I also tend to still purchase a few colours here and there.
