Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue Swatches & Review + Live Swatch

Happy Friday!!,

I hope that you all had a fantastic week! Mine was good for the most part and as productive as one can be with a 2 almost three months old lol. Any plans for the weekend? Usually, I'd be excited for some part of the weekend but from last weekend they have been warning us about this horrible snowstorm that we're supposed to be receiving from tomorrow. We're supposed to be getting 15CM OF SNOW!! So guess who will be keeping warm and snug in their house? This girl right here lol. Let's take a look at this Sally Hansen polish that I have to share!

Let me start off by saying that I am very annoyed because I initially had this post all typed and ready to go and then for whatever reason my browser froze and of course I had to reboot my laptop. When that rebooted thankfully all my windows I had reopened but my blog post was gone!!!😠😤😠🙄 I'm not pleased lol.

ANYWAY, Pacific Blue is a sapphire blue crelly polish with a subtle shimmer throughout. Now Sally Hansen had a different formulation of the original Pacific Blue. That one was a cornflower blue creme polish. When I initially decided that I wanted to get into blogging was around the time that Sally Hansen decided that they were going to change the formula of the original Pacific Blue to this one. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to try the original formulation😞.

This version did have a slightly sheer application with the first coat but it was still very manageable. Pacific Blue was smooth, built to full opacity nicely and had a good drying time between coats. I do think that this one is still very pretty though! I could have stopped at two coats but opted for three. Shown is three thin coats with a glossy topcoat.
