Atticus Finch
Atticus Finch is a peacock teal jelly with turquoise holographic glitter, flakies and a hint of shift. The formula was smooth, a little thin but still manageable and had good coverage. Atticus Finch built nicely, had an okay drying time and I could have stopped at two coats but I decided to do three for safe measure. Such a pretty polish! Show is three thin coats with a glossy top coat.
Bern'd Out
Bern'd Out is a stunning bright blue jelly with multiple holographic glitters, four different flakies including some ucc flakies! This polish is gorgeous. I just love this blue so much! I couldn't stop staring at my nails. Bern'd Out had a sheer application, built nicely with good coverage. Shown is three thin coats with a glossy top coat.
Harambe
Harambe is a grey holographic jelly that at certain angles can look linear or scattered. I actually don't own a grey holographic polish so I am glad to have this one in my collection. The formula was smooth with good coverage and is extremely sparkly. 😍😍Harambe had good drying time and built to full opacity nicely. Shown is three thin coats with a glossy top coat.
Snape's Soul
Snape's Soul is a galaxy jelly holographic polish. Another favourite of mine from this collection! I don't own any black holographic polishes so believe me when I tell you that this more than a welcomed addiction to my collection lol. Snape's Soul had a very smooth formula, built fantastically and a great drying time. Shown is three thin coats with a glossy top coat.
Unforgettable
Unforgettable is a lovely green and gold jelly flakie combination polish. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I either like greens or I just don't and this one is a definite like for me! The formula was smooth and it just glided it onto the nail with good coverage and is super pretty. Unforgettable had a decent drying time and built nicely. Shown is three thin coats with a glossy top coat.
Ziggy Stardust
Ziggy Stardust is a bright pink jelly polish with holographic micro glitters. Another beauty in the collection. The formula was smooth and had a good drying time. Ziggy Stardust built nicely with good coverage. Shown is three thin coats with a glossy top coat.
All in all I am completely pleased with this collection and would advise you to grab it if you can! It's so hard to pick a favourite but mine would have to be Bern'd Out, Harambe, and Snape's Soul. The Eff 2016 Collection will be available January 13th. Individual polishes will be $9.50 and it will be $54 for the full set! As I commented elsewhere, I like these colors, but the names feel forced and it's kind of morbid to me.

ReplyDeleteI didn't think about that until now. I totally agree.
ReplyDeleteI support the Eff 2016 theme. Like Michelle, I don't know that I see the connections between the colors and names. That said, these are all beautiful colors.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Becky!
ReplyDeleteSnape's Soul is sooo pretty. Great swatches. :)
ReplyDeleteI can help with the color/name connections - they're celebrating inspirations who 2016 took too soon. Atticus Finch is for Harper Lee and To Kill a Mockingbird. The teal is the shade of water in the Gulf of Mexico near where she lived. Bern'd out is for the Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders. Snape's Soul is Alan Rickman - from his robes and Harry Potter. Harambe was the Silverback Gorilla killed when a kid fell into his pen in the Cincinnati zoo. Ziggy Stardust is for David Bowie, and Unforgettable was the green dress Natalie Cole wore when she performed the song.
ReplyDeleteIt really is. Thanks Michelle :D
