Essie Case Study Swatches & Review

It's Friday!,

I actually can't believe that the week is pretty much over and it's time for the weekend already. Any plans for this weekend? I don't have any at the moment but maybe something may come up who knows! Today I've got a swatch of Essie Case Study. See more after the jump!

Case Study is a medium beige creme from the Fall 2011 Collection. To be honest I've been avoiding swatching this polish just because of how the polish appears in the bottle. Turns out that once I actually got it on I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would. The formula on this polish was the thin side but manageable if you're careful and do thin coats. Since the polish is thin it is a cuticle flooder. Case Study does dry fast and dries to a glossy finish. Shown is two thin coats with top coat.

Is Case Study a polish that you could see yourself wearing? Have you ever judged a polish by what it looks like in the bottle but ended up loving it once you applied it? Let me know in the comments down below!

  1. Wow, that looks like a completely different polish once you get it on! In the bottle it's not so pretty and looks yellowed and meh. It's a really nice shade once you get it out of there.

  4. Exactly! That's why I never paid it any mind for so long lol. I guess you should never judge a polish by it's outside appearance.
