The Switching Post : Rebecca From Claws For Thought

Hey Lovelies!,

I'm back with another lovely lady from The Switching Post group that I'm in on Facebook. This month I was partnered up with Rebecca from Claws For Thought.

Hi everyone! Super super excited to be on Sasha's blog today! We have been paired up as part of a mani swap/blog swap group and this is the first time I've done something like this. I was very excited when I checked the blog of who I'd been paired with, as I already follow and love Sasha's work! I was tempted to try something similar to a design already done on Glamorousnails23 but wasn't sure I could match it!

So we decided on a theme of nature, and I sifted through my stamping plates to see what I could find that fits. I hadn't yet used my Mo You stamping plate number 12 from the Kitty collection. Bought it ages ago but it hasn't been the right season so I'm glad to finally use it. I went for a bright theme with some Barry M polishes (listed below the pictures).

Using my Uber Chic stamping mat and some dotting tools I created some decals for the thumb and ring fingernails I'd painted white. Because of the shape of the butterfly wings, and the size of my thumbnails there was a little too much white left round the edges for my liking, so I decorated them with some slightly holographic glitter. Glitter fixes everything!

So here's what I came up with:

Colours used: Cobalt - Barry M, Guava - Barry M, Greenberry - Barry M, Alpine Snow - OPI, Black Knight - Mo You, Bright Purple - Barry M, Limited Edition (nameless!) Glitter - Barry M

I hope you like my colourful butterfly nails! Remember to head over to my blog (Claws For Thought) to see what Sasha did for my blog. Thanks for having me!! :)
