How has your week been? Mine was alright although I felt like it went by way too fast! Today I have the last prompt for this months WNAC October 2015 Challenge which is hosted by by +Simply Nailogical@missbellatracey, and @kgrdnr. The theme for October is Holo and the last prompt for the month is Holoween. I still can't mentally process that the last day of October is tomorrow :|. Let's take a look at what I came up with.

There's only one more day until the weekend! Any special plans? I'm just going to be taking the little one Trick Or Treatin'. Today I have the For The Love Of Polish October "Spooky" Box to share with you! For those of you who don't know For The Love Of Polish Box isn't a subscription but more you have to keep your eyes peeled for when it will be available and make sure you grab one kind of thing lol. There are always two main contributors to the box which is Illyrian Polish and Polished For Days and then there is different guest polish maker each month. Let's get to it!

How are you doing? I'm playing catch up again but oh well. Lol. I have this weeks prompt for you for the WNAC October 2015 Challenge. If you don't know by now this challenge is on instagram and is hosted  by +Simply Nailogical@missbellatracey, and @kgrdnr. I actually almost didn't do this one because I've never attempted the Houndstooth design before. But I decided to give it shot because it was going to push me out of my comfort zone.  Let's see how I did.

How was your day today? Mine was very rainy. I didn't mind it though seeing as I actually do like to hear the rain beating against the window. Today I have a new to me brand to share with you called Square Hue. Square Hue is a monthly subscription box and you have the option of getting a box with three polishes or a box with two. Each box is usually centred around a theme and Octobers box theme is the 1990's. A portion of the proceeds from the sale goes towards helping raise awareness of human trafficking through the A21 Campaign. Enough chit chat let's get to the polishes!

HPB Presents: Halloween Tutorial

Hey Polishers!,

How are you? I'm feeling a lot better now. I had a horrible migraine today and I couldn't do anything but lay down in the dark.  Today I'm back with a tutorial for you all! I know I know I'm trying to make the tutorials consistent just bare with me. Lol. All the products and or polishes that were used can be found here. I hope you enjoy this! 

Step-By-Step Instructions:
Gradient
  1. Apply base coat
  2. Once base coat has dried apply your base color and allow to dry thoroughly (fast drying top coat can be used to assist with this)
  3. Place latex barriertapeliquid palisade (what you have available) on and around your cuticles to help with clean up
  4. Taking two colors of your choice apply them horizontally on a cosmetic wedge as you see above
  5. Dab sponge onto nail
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 until you have achieved your desired opacity 
  7. Remove latex barriertapeliquid palisade (which ever you used)
  8. Clean up any excess polish that may be on or around the cuticles with a brush lightly dipped in pure acetone
  9. Apply fast drying top coat 
Stamping
  1. Paint polish on to desired stamping plate image as shown above
  2. Using an old card (can be any type of card) quickly spread polish across image
  3. Quickly pick up image using stamper
  4. Apply image onto nail using a rolling motion
  5. Clean up any excess of the image using a brush lightly dipped in pure acetone
  6. Apply your fast drying top coat

How was your weekend? Mine was okay. I had to study for three mid-terms that I have this week. I was actually supposed to have two today but one got cancelled and moved to Wednesday, so more time to study for me and on top of that I was dealing with toothache pain (which is still on going *insert mad face here*) and my back spasms. 

Anyways today I have the September/October Bi-Monthly Box Duo from Daily Hues Nail Lacquer. I really like getting these because it's a mystery as to what your going to get and there are only so many made every two months! Let's take a look at the polishes!

Hey Beautiful People!,

The week is almost over! Do you have any plans for the upcoming weekend? I don't. I've got three midterms that I've got to study for next week as well as a presentation. Reading week can't come fast enough. So by the title of this post you clearly know what I'm going to be sharing with you! Most of my goodies that I got when I went to IMATS this year!! It literally just passed and I'm already planning and thinking about going next year! LOL. Alright enough of my jibber jabber let's see what I got!

Can you believe that the week is almost finished already!? I only got 2hrs of sleep the night before so once I got home and dealt with my daughter and got her to bed that was that. I just went to sleep lol. Any who I'm back with a different kind of post for you today.
I recently received a LANEIGE Box from +Influenster which contains a LANEIGE Brightening Sparkling Water Foam Cleanser. I've never heard of this brand before so I was very interested to give it a try. Let's get to it shall we!

25th Birthday Haul

How are you? I 'm okay. Kind of annoyed. My ipad dropped and the screen cracked. I can still use it but it's just an annoying thought in the back of my head that I'm more than likely going to have to go and take it to get fixed. *Sigh* Oh well. 

Onto a better note I did a really big haul for my birthday and I figured that I might as well share it as well. I still have to share my IMATS haul so keep a look out for that as well. Let's see what goodies I purchased for myself for my birthday last month!

How was your weekend? Mine was good. It pretty much rained all weekend and was pretty cold. So unfortunately I didn't get to go downtown to some of the free events that were happening but I did get to and hang out with some of my friends which is always nice. 

Today I have my first ever comparison post to share with you. I knew from the moment that I saw Text Me Later it reminded me of Vant To Bite My Neck. So of course I had to find out for myself if they were dupes or not! So let's find out shall we!

Your Majesty It's Time To Indigogo Tutorial

How was your weekend? Mine was kind of annoying. It was one of those weekends were nothing went as I had planned it too. Kind of frustrating! Anyways I'm back with another tutorial for all of you lovely people! See I'm trying to keep my promise about making more tutorials :). This is the tutorial for the Your Majesty It's Time To Indigogo nails that I did recently. You can find the products and polishes that I used here and the step-by-step instructions down below. Enjoy!
Step-By-Step Instructions:
  1. Apply your base coat
  2. Once the base coat has tried place a chevron nail vinyl onto the nail as shown above
  3. Taking the first color of your choice put polish over the tip of the nail vinyl as you see above
  4. While polish is still wet quickly remove nail vinyl
  5. Clean up any excess polish that may be on or around the cuticles using a brush lightly dipped in pure acetone
  6. Allow polish to dry thoroughly or you can use a fast drying topcoat to assist with this
  7. When dry place striping tape as shown above to create a triangular shape
  8. With your second color of choice apply polish as shown above 
  9. While polish is still wet quickly remove striping tape
  10. Allow to dry thoroughly
  11. Apply fast drying top coat 
  12. While top coat is still tacky quickly place nail stud onto nail as shown above and that's it!

How are you? I know okay it's been a while since I've made a tutorial. I sincerely apologize. I'm going to try to rectify that by making more tutorials! How does that sound? Life has just been kicking my butt lately that's all. I actually had this tutorial sitting on my computer for a while and completely for got to post it. This is my tutorial for my Gradient & Dots mani that I did a while back. You can find all the products and polishes that I used here. Enjoy!
