WNAC September 2015: Dry Marble

Hey Beautiful People!,

How was your day? Mine was good. Had classes today. I'm really loving my timetable this semester because I only have classes Mondays & Wednesdays! Isn't that awesome? Lol. Well I wanted to have this posted last week Friday, but it just didn't work out that way.

Here are my nails for the WNAC September 2015 challenge that I'm participating in on instagram. If you don't know it's hosted by +Simply Nailogical@missbellatracey, and @kgrdnr. The theme for September is Jewel Tones and the prompt was Dry Marble. Let's see how this turned out!

WNAC September 2015: Dry Marble

This is the first time that I've attempted to do a Dry Marble mani. I'm going to consider it a nail fail. It didn't turn out how I had pictured it in my mind. To me it's just meh but I do love the colors that I used. Maybe in the future I shall try this again.

WNAC September 2015: Dry Marble

Seeing as the theme is Jewel Tones I used black, purple, magenta, and red which represents Onyx, Quartz, Jewel & Ruby.

  2. I haven't tried dry marbling recently, I always end up gouging the polish too deeply. Nothing light handed about me I guess. You nailed it though.

I really like the colors you used here! I haven't had any luck with drag marbles... I always get bald lines from the dragging... Maybe I just need to try runnier polishes?

This is a lot of fun. I'm not sure I could pull this off. I feel like I'd be horrible at it. haha

  12. Thanks Stephanie! You could try runnier polishes to see if that helps. I just used a thick coat of base coat and thick blobs lol.
