KleanColor Blue Pearl Swatches & Review

Hey Beautiful People!,

How are you doing today? I in all honesty could be better. In 2013 I was in a car accident and I still am recovering from it. I had to have surgery on my knee because of it as well. Unfortunately today was one of those days were I would get horrible back spasms. So I was pretty much on bed rest all day but I'm starting to slowly feel better now. Enough about me!

Today I have another one of the KleanColor polishes that I purchased while on my vacation in Barbados. I actually wish I was there right now. I actually used this as a base for some nail art which you can see here. Let's get started!

KleanColor Blue Pearl

Blue Pearl is a baby blue frost polish. Now we all know that KleanColor polishes are know to have that very strong smell to them which unfortunately turns me off of them. I'm actually glad that I only own three including this one. It's unfortunate because Blue Pearl is a very pretty color. This one was extremely brush strokey but it did dry fast in between coats and was almost a one coater. Blue Pearl did build nicely with nice coverage. Shown is two thin coats with a top coat.

What did you think of Blue Pearl? Do you own this polish? Do you still have any KleanColor polishes or have you gotten rid of them because of the smell? How do you feel about frost polishes? Let's chat down below!

  2. I actually just wrote a blog post about Kleancolor, it should be up in a few days. I love this color, not crazy about frost polishes though, mostly because of the brush strokes.

    1. It really is. I only own a few because I can't seem to find them in Toronto. They do have a rather strong smell FYI in case you do end up picking some up.

  5. Too frosty for me, but I bet it would be great for stamping or something.

    1. They're not too bad. If you can't stand brush strokes don't get them. Also they have a rather unique smell.

  9. Sorry you weren't having a good day. Frost finishes aren't my favorite and I do own several Klean Colors that I don't use much at all. I wil most likely get rid of some eventually.

    1. Thank you! Frosts aren't my finishes either. I don't own many and I'm not sure how many more that I will end up owning.
