Geometric Gradient Tutorial

Happy Friday!,
Not sure how we got back here so fast but we're here! How has your week been? Mine was okay. I had the exam for the first out of five classes to get my Nail Technician Certificate. The annoying part is waiting for the marks lol. Today I have the tutorial for the Geometric Gradient for you all. All polishes and products used can be found by clicking on the link.

Step-By-Step Instructions:
  1. Apply base coat
  2. Once base coat has dried apply your base color and allow to dry thoroughly (fast drying top coat can be used to assist with this)
  3. Place latex barrier, tape, liquid palisade (what you have available) on your cuticles to help with clean up
  4. When you base color is dry place nail vinyls or striping tape as shown above
  5. Taking two colors of your choice apply them diagonally on a cosmetic wedge as you see above
  6. Dab sponge onto nail
  7. Repeat steps 4-5 until you have achieved your desired opacity
  8. While polish is still wet quickly remove striping tape or nail vinyls
  9. Remove latex barrier, tape, liquid palisade (which ever you used)
  10. Clean up any excess polish that may be on or around the cuticles with a brush lightly dipped in pure acetone
  11. Apply your top coat and that's it!
Hope you enjoyed the tutorial! Do you have any plans this weekend. Let's talk below!
