Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Watermarble Tutorial

Hello my lacquered friends,

This is the tutorial for the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Watermarble. (remember to insert link). Remember that watermarble takes practise and patience. I didn't always get the perfect design when I first started, and sometimes even now I don't. But that's the awesome thing about watermarbling. You can always make it work with your design and not all of your nails HAVE to be the exact same pattern!

Step-By-Step Instructions:
  1. Apply your base coat
  2. Polish on the base color of your choice and allow to dry (I usually use white to help make the colors pop and a fast drying top coat can help speed up the drying process)
  3. Apply Bliss Kiss Simply Peel Latex Barrier (or whatever you have available) around nail and cuticles to help with an easier clean up
  4. Start adding drops of polish(you have to move quickly if not polish will dry) into the bowl of water (should be room temperature) in the order that you desire
  5. Start creating a design with a toothpick, needle, dotting tool etc. (again whatever you have available) but start the design from about the 4-5 inner ring. If you start directly from the most outer ring the design will pull because that that ring would have dried already
  6. Once you have the desired design dip finger in the water
  7. While finger is still in the water start to gently blow on the water (helps excess polish to dry quickly) while using a cotton swab, tooth pick, dotting tool etc. to clean up excess polish around the nail
  8. Slowly bring finger out of water
  9. Using tweezers, a toothpick, your finger (whatever! lol) remove product that you have around you finger
  10. Using a brush (I purchased mine from @joliepolish on instagram) dipped in pure acetone, clean up around your cuticles.
  11. Apply dry fast top coat & then your finished!
