How was your weekend? Mine was okay the weather is still really wonky over here in Toronto. One minute it's hot the next the temperature is dropping and you need to wear at least your spring jacket. When will summer officially arrive! :'(. I also took my daughter to a birthday party and of course she enjoyed herself and we have another one to attend this weekend.
Today I am going to share with you is the China Glaze Electric Nights Collection. There are 12 polishes in this collection. Three of them are glitter toppers and nine of them are neon cremes. Today I will be sharing six and then I will be sharing the other six next weekend.
Here are the six polishes that I will be sharing with you today from left to right:
- UV Meant To Be
- Point Me To The Party
- Home Sweet House Music
- Red-y To Rave
- Daisy Know My Name
- Can I get An Untz Untz
Note: I didn't use any undies (white base) for these swatches.
UV Meant To Be
First up from the China Glaze Electric Nights Collection is UV Meant To Be. UV Meant To Be is a vibrant smooth blue creme polish. The first coat was a tad bit streaky but levelled out nicely by the second. In the photos I used two coats with a top coat. I really like this blue.
Point Me To The Party
UV Meant To Be
First up from the China Glaze Electric Nights Collection is UV Meant To Be. UV Meant To Be is a vibrant smooth blue creme polish. The first coat was a tad bit streaky but levelled out nicely by the second. In the photos I used two coats with a top coat. I really like this blue.
Point Me To The Party
Point Me To The Party is a fun colored pretty glitter topper. This topper contains various sizes of hex shapes in orange, pink, green, and blue in a clear base! Fun right? Point Me To The Party dries fast and looked like a party on my nails. Love it! The glitter was easy to work with and I didn't have to use the dabbing method. In the photos below I used one coat over UV Meant To Be with a top coat.
Home Sweet House Music
Home Sweet House Music is a bright smooth neon orange that reminds me of the creamsicle popsicle. It was a little bit streaky but did even out nicely. Home Sweet House Music dries fast and was fully opaque in three thin coats. In the photos below it's topped off with a top coat.
Red-y To Rave
Up next we have Red-y To Rave which is a bright neon creme red.The formula was smooth, dried fast, and built nicely. This one was giving some trouble to photograph but love it none the less. I definitely can say that I don't have anything like this in my collection. In the photos I used two thin coats with a top coat.
Daisy Know My Name
Warning! You might need sunglasses for this one! Daisy Know My Name is a super bright neon creme yellow. This is like a highlighter yellow, it's that bright! The first coat was sheer but evened out, built nicely and dried fast. Below is three thin coats with a top coat.
Can I Get An Untz Untz
Last but not least what I am going to share with you today is Can I Get An Untz Untz. This is another glitter topper from the collection that has hex shapes in sizes like Point Me To The Party with blue, green, and purple colors. Below is one coat topped over Daisy Know My Name with a top coat. This another one that had my camera on the fritz!
All in all I really like these colors so far. They're fun and bright for summer! Especially those glitter toppers! Next week I will have the rest of the collection posted. Do you own any colors of this collection? Which ones are your favourite?
*Polishes were purchased by me for my own personal review*
